Get a box of cornmeal. There is a tamale pie recipe on the packaging is exceptional.
FIESTA TAMALE PIE
1 (8 1 / 2 ounce) pkg corn bread mix
1 egg
1 / 3 cup milk
1 pound ground meat
Sausage 1 / 4 pounds of pork
1 / 4. chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1 (16 oz) stewed tomatoes, drained
1 (12 ounce) can corn, drained
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
1 1 / 2 c. Tea. Chili powder
1 teaspoon of tea. Salt
1 / 4 cup pitted black olives, sliced
1 / 2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
A pinch of paprika
Mix corn muffin mix, egg and milk until they get wet. Set aside. Combine ground beef, sausage, onions and garlic in a pan, place 8 x 8 cm. Microwave on high, until the meat is pink, 5-9 minutes to break lose, stirring once beef. Drainage. Tomatoes, corn, tomato paste, chili powder and salt. Microwave in height until thickened, 4-8 minutes. Stir in olives.
The mixture in a corn-muffin mix beef. Heat over medium heat for 5 minutes. Increase the power too high. Microwave oven is set to the middle, 4-8 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese and peppers in the last 2 minutes of cooking. If you have another car Oven SharpChoke, rotating pan quarter turn every 2 minutes.
Tamale Pie
Brown 1 1 / 2 pounds of ground beef with onions. Add 1 can drained corn, add 1 large can of Manwich. Garnish with grated cheese.
Mix 1 box Jiffy corn bread, as shown, then add 3 tablespoons oil and 3 tablespoons sugar. For corn bread on the hamburger mixture into a 13 x 9 cm. Bake until cornbread is light brown, 350 degrees.
